We took off to New York in order to present timeless Capsule collection over the Fashion Week at Studio 450. Knitwear was literally Framed by Karl, Estonian eyewear designer.

“An impulse came from a distant memory of a certain veranda that I have started to long for as I have urbanised. The smells, the sunspots, rainy summer days and the dewy grass. My sensory oasis,” says the designer where her source of inspiration came from. “Besides, my ideas start flying when I flick through handicraft magazines that date back to Soviet times.”
Designer plays the patterns up and down, she manipulates with yarn in order to create wearable connection between the nostalgy and the present day. Capsule collection is an ode to simplicity where oversized knits have an accent on the structure. Knits are as seamless as they could and they have few cuts. I want the natural material to speak fully for itself.
Liisa Soolepp creates stories through knitwear that is made to last. Her simple, yet personal perspective is born and bred by cold climate, life in a small town and desire to create more meaningfulness.
Reflecting quality, femininity and spirit, designer aims to attract like-minded women who see her knitwear as talismans that help to create inspirational space and atmosphere around their individuality.
Since frames define our view and we stand for mutual values, we collaborated with Framed By Karl for our New York Fashion Week runaway. Wooden spectacles made by Estonian craftsman and designer Karl Annus. Each and every piece is unique and made to customer’s preference.
